Glasgow The Caring City, with a 20+ year track record of helping in crises at home and abroad, is working with third sector partners to provide targeted aid to Ukrainians fleeing their country.
Our emergency fundraising appeal to allow us to provide more targeted aid to Ukrainians fleeing their homeland.
Working with partners, we sent a first tranche of requested aid containing warm blankets, fresh new clothing and children’s shoes which are now bound for the border with Poland.
More help is needed for what is an ever-changing, dynamic situation – which is why we need your donations today.
Our fundraising appeal is now live with an initial target of £10,000 to allow us to provide further support via local partners, getting Ukrainians exactly what they need when they need it.
Ross Galbraith, Glasgow The Caring City’s crisis resilience manager, explains more in this Facebook video – please watch the video, please donate if you can and please share with your contacts.
