Glasgow the Caring City is a unique charity, focusing on partnerships for development opposed to self-delivering projects.
Our philosophy is to support locally led initiatives where and when possible and to empower local people with the options of choice, design, delivery and governance at all times. Our charity has a vision of support, opposed to a desire to manage and this support can be witnessed in all our projects around the world.
At the forefront of our approaches to support, is a focus on sustainability. Creating sustainable development is essential for lasting and positive change. This is why we choose to work with some of the most professional, highly respected and environmentally aware organisations in our community, creating world class, locally led partnerships for development across the globe.
